About Our Classes

We started out as a way of sharing our love of all things food-related with like-minded people, but have grown into a personalized experience for groups from all walks of life.

In our classes as well as having fun, sampling delicious food and
getting to know everyone, we have 3 main objectives:


We show you how simple it can be to create heavenly food with just a few ingredients and a bit of planning. We give you the confidence to try all the dishes at home.


We aim to promote an awareness of the diversity of Greek food and show that there’s so much more to it than Gyros and Souvlaki. Our journey of great taste starts here.


Through compelling stories and anecdotes about Greek history and culture we show you how far Greek food has come- and where it is heading in the near future.

Hi! I am Amanda

I’m looking forward to sharing my journey into Greek cuisine with you. I’ve lived in Zakynthos for over 30 years now and been lucky enough to learn Greek cuisine from some of the best.

I was a chef in our own restaurant for many years, follow numerous food blogs and love trying out new cuisines, although Greek is still my favourite. The simple reason for this is that it’s ultimately healthy comfort food, based on season, local produce.

Through our cooking classes I hope to give you the confidence to try new dishes at home, to inspire you to experiment with alternative ingredients and to show you why the Mediterranean style diet is still considered one of the best in the world.

Hello! My name is Alex

I have grown up in a restaurant environment, surrounded by chefs and food my entire life. At the age of 16 I started working in the kitchen and have been in and out ever since.

I’ve travelled the world in search of new food experiences but it’s always Greek food that really inspires me with its beautifully simple, healthy ingredients.

As the second generation owner of one of the most successful restaurants on the island, I believe I can offer a unique and worldly view on food.

This is who I am, and I really hope that you will join me on a delicious journey into Greek Cuisine.

The participation to the class costs 60€ / person which also includes everything! There are no hidden costs or fees to our classes.

Yes, we do provide discounts and special prices depending the number of people (usually more than 6) or children under 18 years old. Please contact us to let you know what is the offer in your case.

There is a minimum of 5 people and we try to keep the maximum to 14.

Everybody has a go at something during the morning, we try to make the classes as interactive as possible and keep the group size relatively small. If there’s something you particularly want to try, please tell us at the start of the lesson.

There are several vegetarian dishes included in the class and where possible we try to give vegetarian alternatives to the meat dishes. Please advise us at the time of booking If you have a particular special diet or any food allergies please contact us before booking to discuss suitability.

The price of the lesson does not include pick up from your accommodation. However if you need help with arranging transport from or to your hotel we will be only too happy to help.
