If you’d like to experience a ‘hands on’ cookery class where you get to make a selection mouth-watering iconic Greek dishes, this is the course for you.
We really want you to enjoy this class with us and make you feel at home, so what better way to start the day than by making Greek coffee together, (or healthy mountain tea) whilst introducing ourselves and getting to know you.
Our first dish, Mousaka, can seem slightly daunting, however, we break it down into 3 simple sections making it both fun and approachable. This is the ultimate make ahead dish for any dinner party or family occasion. It goes wonderfully with Greek salad, tsatsiki and saganaki all of which we show you how to prepare, explaining how to make them that little bit special.
Every good dinner party needs a great dessert and you can’t get much better than Baklava. Our version is for individual baklava rolls soaked in sweet, scented syrup- serve it with ice-cream, it’s amazing. And more good news, this is another make ahead dish, taking the stress out of entertaining and leaving you free to enjoy valuable time with your guests.
The morning is interspersed with stories about the Island, its culture and how the Mediterranean diet has come to be what it is today, and of course there will be local products including wines to try along the way.
Finally we retreat to our beautiful, shady garden area to enjoy all the delicious food we’ve created with a well-deserved ice cold drink – a perfect end to fun filled morning.

OMG! This place was the pinnacle of Zanlkynthos! I know super good reviews are suspicious, but I’m a tourist from Chicago and I absolutely loved it. First of all, Alex, Mandy, and the Albanian were simply a delight. The most Humble and grounded chefs I’ve ever met. They’re truly amazing. The food was delicious. The dolmades was amazing with the raisins and the zucchini fritters were heavenly. Please order the salad and drink some ouzo. The setting is also amazing as well. It is a beautiful garden setting in the back of the restaurant. It is truly amazing. Also, they offer cooking classes for groups of tourists, and I would 100% recommend them. I am just leaving the class right now and could not keep in my excitement. Our group stuffed our faces with the food that WE made. They were lovely and offered a great history of Greek food. With all my heart, I hope everyone on Zanlkynthos comes to cook at the Green Frog.

WOW! This place was absolutely amazing. We loved every second of it. The cooking class was well prepared and you could see that they were in it with their heart and soul. Alex told us a lot about the greek cuisine and about Argassi. It was informative and the food was absolutely phenomenal. If you are in Zakynthos and love cooking, I definitely recommend taking this cooking class. You will experience typical Greek dishes that you will not easily order in the restaurant. Alex will tell you a lot about the food and how it is created.
At the end you will eat everything together and get a present. Alex and his mother are so nice and will teach you everything they know!
