If you’d like to experience a ‘hands on’ cookery class where you get to make a selection mouth-watering iconic Greek dishes, this is the course for you.
We really want you to enjoy this class with us and make you feel at home, so what better way to start the day than by making Greek coffee together, (or healthy mountain tea) whilst introducing ourselves and getting to know you.
Our first dish, Mousaka, can seem slightly daunting, however, we break it down into 3 simple sections making it both fun and approachable. This is the ultimate make ahead dish for any dinner party or family occasion. It goes wonderfully with Greek salad, tsatsiki and saganaki all of which we show you how to prepare, explaining how to make them that little bit special.
Every good dinner party needs a great dessert and you can’t get much better than Baklava. Our version is for individual baklava rolls soaked in sweet, scented syrup- serve it with ice-cream, it’s amazing. And more good news, this is another make ahead dish, taking the stress out of entertaining and leaving you free to enjoy valuable time with your guests.
The morning is interspersed with stories about the Island, its culture and how the Mediterranean diet has come to be what it is today, and of course there will be local products including wines to try along the way.
Finally we retreat to our beautiful, shady garden area to enjoy all the delicious food we’ve created with a well-deserved ice cold drink – a perfect end to fun filled morning.
